Judith Ann Meyer, 85, formerly of Neenah, WI, passed away on January 13, 2024, at home in Mesa, AZ.

She was born to Howard & Myra (Laudon) Ehlers on August 18, 1938. She graduated from Neenah High School and shortly thereafter, married the love of her life, Omar, in 1957. They enjoyed 63 years together.

She and Omar loved to travel, dance, play cards, and host parties. She was quite skilled at wallpapering, painting and could fix just about anything. She also enjoyed volunteering at her church and children’s school.

She loved music and played the trumpet, accordion, piano and organ. Judith was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and would hum all the time. She also enjoyed sewing/cross stitching and even made everyone in the family their own quilt!

Judy was a loving and dedicated mother to Gerald “Omar” Otto, David Howard, and Melinda Marie. She was a homemaker for most of her life and excelled at it! She made everything from scratch and spent a good portion of her life gardening and canning. Her children sure do miss her applesauce, peaches, pickles, and strawberry jam and they are convinced that she taught Betty Crocker everything she knew!

Her life forever changed when her granddaughter, Tia Marie, was born. They shared a very special bond, and she would always say, “I just love your little hand in mine”! Of course, she was ecstatic when Tia and her husband made her a great grandma... twice!

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Omar Meyer, and her parents, Howard & Myra Ehlers of Neenah, WI.

She is survived by her three children, Gerald “Omar” (Joanne) Meyer of Neenah, WI, David Meyer of Mesa, AZ, and Melinda (Brad Gayler) Meyer of Fort Collins, CO; one granddaughter, Tia Marie (Jeremiah) Ventura, one great grandson, Malakai Quinn and one great granddaughter, Izabella Rose, all of Johnstown, CO; and two sisters, Janette (Milo) Wilcox of Salina, KS and Joyce (John) Pim of Fort Worth, TX.
