Van Kauwenberg’s three-point play with 18.6 seconds remaining gave Kaukauna a 58-57 lead.
After Manasseh Stackhouse missed on a drive with 6 seconds left for Kenosha Indian Trail, Van Kauwenberg and Jon O’Neill both made free throws in the final seconds for the winning margin.
The Hawks were not able to get off a shot at the buzzer.
