Fox Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau announced this week the first-ever Feast Around the Fox Cities, a month-long celebration of locally owned restaurants and establishments.

From Jan. 2 to 31, establishments throughout the Fox Cities will introduce new and limited time menu items made specifically for the event. Additionally, most of the establishments will be offering exclusive deals on food and drinks.

The event will feature around 30 locally owned businesses spanning from Neenah to Holland.

Some Appleton-based restaurants featured in the event include Bowl Ninety-One, Fratellos Riverfront Restaurant, Osorio's Latin Fusion, and Whisk and Arrow.

For a full list of restaurants and what deals they will offer, diners must download the free Feast Around the Fox Cities mobile passport.

When visiting one of the participating establishments, customers can check-in on the passport which will then enter them into a prize drawing.

When the event is done, one winner will be selected to win the Ultimate Fox Cities Giveaway, a prize valued at over $1,000. Twelve others will be selected to win gift cards varying from $50 to $100.

"We can’t wait to showcase the incredible Fox Cities food and drink scene with this new event,” says marketing communications manager for Fox Cities CVB, Maddie Jack, in a news release. “In addition to being a benefit to residents, our strong culinary community is a key component in driving tourism to our area.”

Feast Around the Fox Cities will be the successor to Restaurant Week Fox Cities, providing a new experience and introducing a broader selection of food and drinks throughout the area.
