Meet the Fox Valley 2021 Elite 11 high school football team

The Fox Valley has had its share of top football teams and players. This season the tradition continues as we highlight the top senior football players heading into the 2021 fall season.

This season’s features a pair of Big Ten recruits (Jayden Montgomery, Billy Schrauth), rugged offense and defensive linemen (Devin Arriaga, Max Rader, Wesley King), talented defensive backs and receivers (Matt Jung, Owen Pawlikowski), run-stuffing linebackers (Will Campbell and Caleb Rinard), a playmaking running back (Isaac Vanden Bush) and a quarterback coming off a 25-touchdown season (Drew Mears).

RICARDO ARGUELLO is a sports reporter, born in Chicago and a 2003 University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee graduate. He has been a member of the Post-Crescent staff in Appleton since 2006. He is adamant about youth sports, especially high school sports. He also loves movies, traveling, concerts, the television show ‘Parks and Recreation,' spending time with his son Diego and visiting family in California and Florida.
