"Disney on Ice Presents Mickey's Search Party" will visit the Resch Center for eight performances Feb. 7-11.

ASHWAUBENON - As sure as parents will be tugging winter coats over princess costumes, Mickey Mouse will skate into the Resch Center this winter.

One of the arena’s longest-running and best-dressed guests returns in February for the annual visit by Disney on Ice. This year’s show, “Mickey’s Search Party,” plays for eight performances Feb. 7 to 11. If you have an Elsa or Buzz Lightyear fan in your family, here’s what to know if you plan to go.

When are the shows and how much are tickets?

Shows are at 7 p.m. Feb. 7 to 9, 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Feb. 10 and 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Feb. 11.

Tickets start at $28 and go up until $113, depending on seats, performance and market demand. Select tickets on opening night are available for $18. Tickets are on sale at the Resch Center box office, ticketstaronline.com and 800-895-0071.

Anybody 2 years old and older requires a ticket.

Do the Resch Center shows ever sell out?

They do, particularly the daytime weekend shows. Tickets are currently available for all performances.

As one of the biggest events the Resch Center hosts each year, Disney on Ice does draw a crowd —typically 30,000-plus from across northeast Wisconsin, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and as far west as Wausau. The event, produced by Feld Entertainment, has a decades-long history of coming to Green Bay that dates back to the days of Brown County Veterans Memorial Arena.

Besides Mickey Mouse, what other characters will be there?

To say Mickey and Minnie are bringing a few friends along is an understatement. The show, a mix of skating, acrobatics, stunts and a generous sprinkling of Disney magic, will whisk audiences away to all kinds of far away locations as Mickey and his pals follow Captain’s Hook treasure map to find Tinker Bell.

Expects stop in Arendelle with Anna, Elsa and Olaf from “Frozen" and in Andy’s room in “Toy Story” for a number with the Green Army Men, a trip across the Marigold Bridge with Miguel to the Land of the Dead in “Coco” and a voyage with Moana and Maui to a Polynesian island. “Aladdin,” The Little Mermaid" and “Beauty and the Beast” are also represented.

Can children come in their Disney costumes?

You bet. If you’ve ever been to Disney on Ice, you know that seeing all the kids dressed as their favorite Disney character is the show within the show. Costumes, however, are prohibited for ages 14 and older.

Anything else to know?

Doors open an hour prior to showtime. Packing as lightly as possible is recommended. The smaller the diaper bag, the better. No backpacks are allowed.

Performances run about an hour and 45 minutes. There's an intermission to allow for potty breaks — and to shop the many Disney merch kiosks in the concourse.
