The newest member of the Watt family was born this week.

In a join post on their social media accounts on Tuesday, J.J. and Kealia Watt announced the birth of their son, Koa James Watt.

He was born Oct. 23.

"Love and happiness have reached heights we never even knew existed," the couple wrote with an accompanying photo of the two with Koa from their hospital room.

Koa's middle name matches J.J.'s. J.J.'s full name is Justin James Watt.

It's the first child for the 33-year-old J.J., the Pewaukee native and former Wisconsin Badger, and 30-year-old Kealia, a professional soccer player and former University of North Carolina star.

J.J. Watt and Kealia Watt, seen here at the 11th annual NFL Honors on Feb. 10, 2022, at YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, welcomed their first child this week.

The couple, who married in a Bahamas wedding in February 2020, announced the pregnancy in June.

The birth of their child comes after J.J. dealt with a health scare earlier this month. In a tweet and in a post-game news conference earlier this month, he explained that after his heart went into atrial fibrillation, it was shocked back into rhythm. He played for the Arizona Cardinals just a few days later.

For the season, Watt has 2.5 sacks and four tackles for a loss for the 3-4 Cardinals.

It's the latest milestone for Waukesha County's first family of the NFL.

This summer, youngest brother and reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year T.J. married former Wisconsin Badgers All-American soccer player Dani Rhodes in a resort wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Derek Watt, who plays with T.J. on the Steelers, has two children with wife Gabriella.
