Orlando Magic at Miami Heat odds, picks and predictions
The Orlando Magic (27-23) take on the Miami Heat(26-24) Tuesday with tip-off from Kaseya Center set for 7:30 p.m. ET. Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's lines around the Magic vs. Heatodds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.
Season series: Heat lead 2-1
The young Magic have put together a 3-game winning streak and have won 4 of 5 after a 111-99 W over the Detroit Pistons Sunday. F Franz Wagner posted a season-high 38 points in the game, and he's starting to develop into an impact player alongside F Paolo Banchero. The 22-year-old Wagner, in his 3rd season, is averaging 20.8 PPG, 5.6 RPG and 4.0 APG.
The Heat were extinguished by the LA Clippers Sunday 103-95. F Jimmy Butler delivered 21 points, but the team shot just 8-for-30 (27%) from distance. The setback snapped their mini, 2-game win streak, and they're now just 2-8 over the last 10. Newly acquired G Terry Rozier is starting to get comfortable with the squad, and he has 15+ points in 3 of 4 games.

Magic at Heat and predictions
Prediction
Magic 103, Heat 98
Moneyline
This is the Magic's 5th and final road game before going home for 5. They're 3-1 on the trip, only falling to Dallas by 2 points. Meanwhile, the Heat are doing their best cover of Tom Petty and "Free Fallin'."
Miami isn't particularly good at home at 13-12, and while the Magic are "meh" at 12-16 on the road, this isn't a typical road game just 3 hours down the coast. I'll go with the eye test and take the MAGIC +120 here.
Against the spread
I'm not going to mess around with the spread. Instead, JIMMY BUTLER OVER 18.5 POINTS (-125) sticks out. He has 19+ in 5 straight games and is averaging 26 PPG during the stretch.
Over/Under
These teams have played to 2 straight Unders against one another, and neither are really runnin' and gunnin'. The Heat are 2-8 O/U over the last 10, and the Magic are 5-5. I'm taking the UNDER 212.5 (-110).
